Yah! We’re back in Jakarta after a long absence and it’s great to be back.. and with a new mini addition to the team.. but more on that later..
I look forward to JFW every year and this year was no different, although I unfortunately was only able to make it along to two shows this year in the end. It was great to see the Fashion Tent at Senayan City buzzing with fashionista’s, designers and models as usual and to be able to watch The Dutch Renaissance themed show presented by Erasmus Huis. Billy Tjong showcased his latest collection which was inspired by Rudolf Bonnet, a Dutch artist living in Bali. Auguste Soesastro’s collection was also inspired by another Dutch painter, Han Snel, who is also based in Bali.
This was a great way to get back into life in Jakarta for me… looking forward to it again next year!
